Our Team

Carol Ruhf - Manager

Carol has been a vital part of our team for over 11 years now. We like to call her the real "boss" around the office. She enjoys meeting knew people and getting to know our customers. She keeps our boat afloat and our office in tip top shape. Without her, we just don't know what we would do.

Zach Nichols - manager

Our mission everyday is to "value our customers, listen to their needs, and provide outstanding service." Zach has been an excellent addition to our team. He enjoys engaging with people, hearing their stories and keeping busy around the office. Welcome to the team Zach!

Trevor Reimer - Superman

Trevor helps us with just about anything. From cleaning units, facility maintenance, to assisting customers in the office, Trevor keeps our sites clean and safe for you and your belongings at all times. Say "Hello" if you see him around.

Phil Cronin - Director of Construction and Facility Care

Phil recently joined our team in Fall of 2022 and will head up all present and future construction projects. He will also oversee facility maintenance to help us continue to offer safe and well kept sites for our customers. Welcome aboard Phil! We are thrilled to have you.

Jordan DeGraaf - Owner/General Manager

Jordan and his wife Kenzie moved to the Grand Rapids areas from Denver and have been a part of the team for over 3 years. Jordan's job is to ensure that every one of our customers has a fantastic experience storing with us. He also does a few other things like marketing, roofing, website design, and snowplowing in the winter. He's usually around, but if you don't find him in the office he is probably surfing in Lake Michigan or mountain biking in the woods somewhere.

Roger DeGraaf - Owner/Founder

Roger has been around since the beginning. He's a cheerful guy full of energy, wisdom and conversation. His two hands helped build and expand our first storage site into what Rockford Self Storage is today. Sadly, he's not in the office everyday now, but it's always a pleasant surprise when he and his wife Pokey stop by. In his down time, he enjoys bird watching and spending time with his big family.

Mike DeGraaf - Owner/Founder

Mike is the visionary behind Rockford Self Storage. His "go-getter" mentality and his determination to see a plan come together is how Rockford Self Storage has continued to grow over the years to serve more and more of the Rockford community. When he's not hard at work, he's usually fleeing to warmer weather. He enjoys scuba diving, working on cars, and going boating with friends.
